Nathan Gorman took out Tomas Salek within 90 seconds of the start of the match, the very first round. With this victory Nathan has set a foundation upon the IBF as a contender looking to move up the ranks. He already holds a WBC belt, the “WBC International Silver heavyweight title” that has him on the WBC radar. He also still holds his “BBBofC Central Area Heavy Title”, which was one of his earliest accolades. All three make Nathan a thrilling candidate for his Gypsy heritage.

The event organized by Wasserman Boxing and brought to us by Channel 5 Sports was a masterclass. Also amongst the onlookers from Gorman’s fan corner was his cousin, the recently retired Tyson Fury “The Gypsy King” himself, who was also cheering on his family.

The event took place on Friday the 17th of June with Ukrainian Tomas barely getting enough time to react and zone in on the fight. Salek maintained solid sportsmanship throughout the pre-flight and post-fight conferences. Even accepting the victor of the night in positive spirits.
Wasserman Promoters the SauerLandBros had this to say;
Kalle Sauerland: “That belt will give us a top 15 ranking and he’s only 25-years-old. Tyson has a great story but Nathan will write his own story. We will see when we put him out next but it will be very soon, we’re looking at September.”

Nathan himself called the fight a return from his 15 month hiatus and had this to say after the fight: “Fifteen months out the ring, inactivity, but I spent them 15 months outside the ring with good sparring and broad sparring to try and perfect my craft and hopefully I showed it tonight.” He also added: “I’m very happy, a new belt as well. Tyson said to me afterwards ‘That’s how you do it!’ Only way is up!”
On his socials Nathan’s own joy, the returning praise and acknowledgement has been enormous:
“AND THE NEW, On to the next one….thank you to each and every one of you for your support”
Nathan brought down his might with all the flare his name deserves. He was wearing his signature handmade RDX C3 Leather Boxing Gloves and most fighters at the night were fashionably sporting RDX wear as well:

The Gypsy Prince, Tyson Fury had this to say:
“He done absolutely fantastic didn’t he, getting a great knockout like that…. I think Nathan can go all the way you know with the right time, right fights and the right experience. Can. I think, do well…. I’d like to see him fight for the British title or the European title against Agit Kabayel.… you know whoever these heavyweights are let them get it on.”
Tyson Fury says @GormanBoxing 'ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!' 🥊💥

However, some “fans” have seemed double minded about this matchup, going as far as to say that Nathan has the capacity to push himself harder, fight better matched challengers and come out on top. His real fans know the truth; that he is already on his way there. RDX loves the trajectory the young Gypsy Prince Nathan is headed upon and wishes him many more bouts and much more success in what can only be a long and fruit-filled boxing career.
