Tito Ortiz Sends Message to Jon Jones after His Trilogy Win against Chuck Liddell
American fighter Tito Ortiz finally avenged his loss with a KO defeat against Chuck Liddell on Saturday night at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
Previously, 43-year-old Ortiz was defeated twice at the hands of his long-time rival The Ice Man at UFC 47 and 66. However, in his third and last encounter, Ortiz defeated his arch rival and The Huntington Beach Bad Boy finally redeemed his previous losses.
During the fight, the former Light Heavyweight Champion seemed far superior to his counterpart. Ortiz dominated the fight early on by teasing his opponent. Tito smashed a right hand punch to the Ice Man’s jaw which proved to be the deciding factor and Liddell fell flat on the canvas.
Soon after settling his score with his opponent, Tito declared his plans to retire from MMA. On the other hand, Chuck Liddell’s future plans remain unclear. What his course of action is, following his surprise defeat, is hard to predict as of now.
If Chuck Liddell had won his fight against Tito, he would have inched closer to the possibility of a fight with Jon Jones but such is not the case.
After bagging a win, Tito reached out to Jon Jones via Twitter.
.@JonnyBones I told you I would take care of your light work! Good luck on your next fight and kick ass! #ufc232 #easywork

The two-time Light Heavyweight and undisputed Champion, Jon Jones is scheduled to lock horns with Alexander Gustafsson for a rematch. Jones will be taking on the former title challenger as part of the UFC 232 headliner event.
Jones’ last cage appearance came against Daniel Cormier at UFC 214, where Bones asserted his dominance by executing a third-round knockout. However, his victory was soon slated to a no-contest when Jones failed his USADA drug test.
In true Jon Jones fashion, he tweeted that he would not bother to respond back to the Ice Man following his loss to Tito.
Yeah it’s official, I am never replying to chuck calling me out again. https://t.co/oDYJ91Aes0
