Now Deontay Wilder is a WBC heavyweight title winner, talk has turned to who his next fight will be with. He has become the first American fighter to win a world heavyweight title in 8 years but the rumors are that the 6ft 7 Alabama indicated he might come up against Tyson Fury, ranked No.5 by the WBC in the ring.

Tyson Fury, who has a great fighting record of 23 unbeaten bouts, will be in attendance to watch Christian Hammer, at the 02 Arena in Greenwich on 28 Feb. Tyson Fury also stated he’d be interested in a fight with Deontary Wilder after defeating Christian Hammer in Feb.

This fight night has significant importance in Las Vegas for Wilder and his country. German fighter Hamer, who is ranked 3rd by the WBO, could be a tough test for Fury.  Tyson Fury has said that he cannot afford any mistakes when they meet in the ring against each other.

He said in a public appearance;

“He’s by far the most accomplished fighter I fought in my career. I’m very familiar with him from the amateurs and I’ve kept an eye on him in the pros.”

Fury also admits German-based Romanian Hamer is a strong opponent who can give him a tough test during the bout with his hard punches and active fighting style. He also acknowledged that one strong punch from Hammer could turn the entire fight against him. But on the other hand he is confident in his own personal skills and believes that there is no man who can beat him. He will fight with courage and no one will keep him down.

Let’s see what happens on February 28, will Tyson Furry defeat Hammer and clear the path to fight Deontay Wilder? Keep your fingers crossed!
