A rumored fight following a tweet by UFC official confirms a rematch between Amanda Nunes and Germaine de Randamie in UFC 245 (December).

The fight will feature a champ-champ bout on December 14, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. UFC promotion confirms the 135-pound title-fight between the contenders. Fans are excited as both meet again after UFC first Night 31 in 2013. The fight took place in Fort Campbell, Kentucky and Nunes won the match via first round knockout. This won her both Bantamweight and Featherweight straps.

Randamie is confident in her upcoming fight “I absolutely respect her but love to face her again. But she is beatable”. She appreciates Nunes for establishing her position throughout the years and considers her ‘World Class’. Despite consecutive wins secured by Nunes, Randamie wants to aim for the top. After her fourth consecutive win, Randamie is regarded as No.1 in her ranking at 135 pounds. This qualifies her as a champ in her own weight division and eligible to fight against fan favorite Nunes.

Nunes on the other hand, has been undefeated since UFC 178 in September. Seven of the total nine wins have been violent finishes making Nunes an undisputed champion.
