Amir Khan Promises to Make Talh World Champion in Sikhism for the First Time

Two-time World Champion Amir Khan is supporting the red-hot talent Talh Singh to become the first Sikh world champion boxer.

Khan is coaching the 26-year-old Liverpool boxer, who is expected to make his professional debut this summer. Singh started competitively boxing at age of 18, which is considered a little late. However, with his natural talent Singh rapidly grew in only 14 fights.

Singh’s potential caught the eye of former World Heavyweight Champion David Haye and trainer Ruben Tabares when he trained at the Hayemaker gym.

This rising star has also has huge celebrity following including the likes of magician Dynamo, WWE Champion Jinder Mahal and singer Jay Sean.

Singh has been working hard for many months alongside Amir in Bolton and he believes that his success will be a turning point for boxing’s popularity in the Sikh community. Khan is also delighted to be working with Singh and knows what it’s like to break down barriers.
