Though no announcement regarding the retirement of Ronda Rousey has been made yet, UFC President Dana White has already made the decision.
Rousey’s Last Show
In November 2012, Rousey was declared the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion. Later, she shuttered the Strikeforce organization. Rousey defended her bantamweight title six times before losing it.
She suffered a brutal KO loss to Holly Holm in UFC 193 and lost her title. Sadly, this was the first loss on her professional fighting record.

In UFC 207, December 2016, Rousey suffered the defeat again at the hands of current women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes.
The defeat came as a big decline of Rousey as this match was just followed by her first defeat.
After these two worst ever defeats, Rousey remained silent and disappeared from the MMA world. She neither did any media talk about her defeats nor shared any plan to fight again.
White’s Opinion About Come Back Of Ronda Rousey
We don’t know yet whether Rousey aims to come back or not. However, UFC President Dana White made an open statement yesterday. He wouldn’t want Rousey to come back to UFC ring.
“I wouldn’t want to see it and I don’t want it to happen,” replied Dana White when he was asked about the come back of Ronda Rousey.
According to White, Rousey is very happy and enjoying her life outside the cage. She has achieved a lot since her childhood. Now its time for her to retire as she already has enough money to lead a happy and satisfied life.
“She’s good and happy. She’s happy doing her thing,” White said.
Rousey Is Not Ready To Retire Yet
Inspite of the odds and ends, Rousey has not declared her retirement yet. USADA is still visiting her house to test her. It seems like Rousey is not ready to say ‘I Quit’ just yet.
White is quite confused about why isn’t she announcing her retirement.
“She refuses to retire. She’s not ready to say, ‘I’m done,’ ” White said about Rousey.
Rousey played a vital role in the history of MMA. She accomplished a lot in her life and we guess it’s time for her to say goodbye to fighting.
