Four-day promotional tour for the grand Mayweather McGregor fight was just wrapped up as the promotional tour for their boxing fight on 26th August in Las Vegas.

Each press conference was filled with trash talk from both sides in front of thousands.

What do the fans want?

Both fighters. Mayweather stated:

“The fans demanded this fight, Conor McGregor wanted this fight, I wanted this fight – those are the three things.
I think Conor McGregor is making a lot of money,

I think I’m making a lot of money, and I think it’s what the fans want to see.

So he has a chance to do something no other fighter has done [beat me].”

The best striker in UFC versus one of the best boxers of all time, this fight has more money involved than any other combat sports event in history.

Many boxing and MMA fans hate the fight but the unison of two greatest fighters for one match is too overwhelming to ignore by either side.

This fight is also bringing many, many fans of other sports together as well.

The Money

Pay-per-view will be generating the bulk of the money, US citizens will be paying $99 to witness the fight in HD and just $10 less to watch it in standard quality.

If you recall, Mayweather and Pacquiao’s fight brought $400 million revenue and the anticipation for this fight is WAY more than that.

So we are expecting at least $100 million increase in the revenues.

The UK has yet to determine the broadcaster which will, of course, add to the total pay-per-view money train.

It will be a glorious Monday for ticket sales.

You’d be surprised how much money people are willing to put in.
