Michael Page needs to find a new opponent to fight with at the prestigious Bellator London bout.
Sources have confirmed that Derek Anderson has withdrawn from his Nov. 23 welterweight bout opposite “MVP.” The reason behind this withdrawal has not yet been disclosed.
Nothing new here though, since this is the second time Page and Anderson have dodged a face-off. Earlier this year at the Bellator 179 event in May, a bout between the two was cancelled due to Page’s knee injury.
Of course finding a replacement opponent for Page is underway.
Coming off of his first loss, Page rebounded with a first-round knockout of Richard Kiely in September. He won his 14 pro bouts before losing to Douglas Lima in the semifinals of the Bellator World Welterweight Grand Prix.
